Custom Camshaft Grinds


At Mace Engineering we offer custom billet camshaft grinds to suit any performance application. From speedway to heavily modified dragsters we can build the correct camshaft to suit your application. Please be aware that for street driven vehicles we recommend our tried and tested 210/210 portfolio,  which can be purchased on different ads. If you are unsure or need assistance with your camshaft design, please send your vehicle details and desired camshaft specifications before purchasing.

WHY


If you think you've gone as far as you can with bolt-on performance parts or are even rebuilding your late model Alloytec V6, it's time to consider the benefits of our eagerly anticipated high-performance camshafts. Once tuned, not only will our cam package provide instant power gains and great sound, but it will open the door to further upgrades enabling you to extract more power from potential modifications.


WHAT


We have developed a series of high-performance billet camshafts for your Holden V6 Alloytec engine. Designed to deliver real-world horsepower and torque gains, our Alloytec cams won't compromise the drivability of your vehicle, like some cams can.


You are provided with four brand new billet camshafts, so there is no need for change-over or deposit and we have packages to suit every model and transmission. We are even able to provide cost effective remote custom tuning for vehicles MY08 vehicles and beyond. Otherwise, please note that in order to make full use of these cams, a custom tune is required.


These cams have been designed to be used with the standard valve springs and engine components, so you are not required to replace any other engine components. However, depending on your application and Camshaft specifications, you may need to replace these with our (Dual Valve Springs and Retainers) package which are available in other listings. 


HOW


The camshaft is one of the most vital components inside your engine, controlling when and how the intake and exhaust valves open and close inside your cylinder heads directly affecting not only how much power you make, but where in the rev range it does it.


By altering key attributes to camshaft design we've been able to offer a series of camshafts that provide maximum drivability and economy.


Please note: For Street driven vehicles we recommend our street friendly camshaft package (VZ - VE Alloytec), (LLT), (LF1, LFW & LFX) These camshafts are also available for other vehicle makes including the Chevrolet Camaro V6, Pontiac G8, Saturn 3.6l & other High Feature V6’s.


**We offer a Camshaft Removal Tool to suit these cams which significantly cuts down labour time & costs. Just let know if you need them and we will take it from there.**

With its new, stiffened structure, the Mazda 3 promises to be a cracking drive, and Mazda has managed to improve fuel economy by 15% and reduce emissions by nearly 20% thanks to stop/start and terrific aerodynamics. Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid EV (PHEV): Details ahead of Paris debut

Mitsubishi has revealed more details on the plug-in hybrid electric Outlander ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show. Mitsubishi has been threatening a hybrid version of the Outlander for a few years (we had the  PX-MiEV at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009 and the PX-MiEV II at last year’s Tokyo Show), but the real production deal – the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV – arrives at Paris. Now, with a public debut imminent, and full production and deliveries planned for 2013, Mitsubishi has revealed more details of their plug-in hybrid as they try to make their reputation for tough off-roaders and bonkers performance cars a bit more fluffy-bunny.
